The FPHL season has ended after just three games in what was supposed to be a 19 games series. The Waterton Wolves won the first three games in what was supposed to be 19 against the Elmira Enforcers. There was an altercation pregame of their February 3rd matchup which resulted in Elmira forfeiting the game. Shortly after it was announced that the entire series was cancelled which means that is the end of the FPHL season as they were the only two teams playing due to Covid.
In an interview with Griffin Haas of WENY, Elmira Enforcers owner Robbie Nichols says that one of their coaches “confronted by two of their players, One of them sucker punched him” pre game as they entered the rink.
It seems as though this will be the end of the year but the next time these two play they will be on Donnybrook watch.
